Even if you use the Ipe Clip ® brand fasteners, the first board needs to have screws placed in it. Extreme Plugs ™ fill the hole that you placed the screw in. The "tolerance absorbing" rings add holding power when installed so the plugs stay firmly in the hole covering the screw head. Since they are made from ipe wood, they also match your deck. Extreme Plugs ™ aren't just for decks, they're for hiding the screws on anything made from ipe wood such as ipe benches or flower boxes.
